Covalent Lithium is a company committed to enabling a cleaner energy future by meeting the rising global demand for battery-quality lithium hydroxide. The establishment of a mine, concentrator, and refinery in Western Australia allows complete control over the end-to-end value chain. Covalent Lithium is committed to sustainable best practices, including the development of circular economy product use and reuse, supply chain decarbonisation, and careful consideration of the impact on individuals, communities, and the environment. Covalent is the manager appointed by a joint venture between subsidiaries of Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM) and Wesfarmers Limited to develop and operate the Mount Holland Lithium Project. When fully constructed, Covalent will be a unique, fully integrated producer of battery-quality lithium hydroxide in Western Australia.

Since 2000, we've been dedicated to enabling architects, manufacturers, specifiers, procurement professionals and individuals to make better choices for people and planet.

Our lifecycle ecolabelling scheme was the first of its kind in Australia, and we're proud to be the only Australian member of the Global Ecolabelling Network, the leading network of the world's most credible and robust ecolabels adhering to ISO 14024 principles. We're widely respected and recognised in Australia and globally by green building programs such as Green Star, the IS Rating Scheme, NABERS and the WELL Building Standard.

When you see the GECA ecolabel on products and services, you know they've met criteria for a wide range of science-based environmental, human health and social impacts across their entire lifecycle while proving that they perform as promised. And importantly, third-party independent Assurance Providers conduct all assessments against GECA's standards.

GECA's lifecycle ecolabel standards include circular criteria such as recyclability, replaceable parts, design for separability or disassembly and Product Stewardship or take-back services. Our Recycled Products, Waste Collection Services, Construction & Demolition Waste Services, and Sustainable Products & Services standards are particularly relevant to growing Australia's circular economy.
